If you are a yarn/fiber snob, you don't have to read this

I don't know if anyone posts in here anymore, but I thought I'd give a heads up to anyone who might come wandering by. I picked up knitting magazine a while ago and I'm really really exciting about it and wanted to share it with fellow knitters. It's called Knit.1 and put out by Vogue Knitting. However, for the knitter-on-a-budget (me) and the knitter-without-a-decent-LYS (me again!), this knitting magazine has projects made exclusively of Lion Brand yarn. Yay! A whole magazine of knitting and crocheting projects made out of yarn I can readily find! And they are fun, hip projects as well, with a variety of knitting levels to choose from.

Another heads up. Debbie Stoller (author of "Stitch 'n Bitch" and "Stitch 'n Bitch Nation") is putting out another Stitch 'n Bitch book in January, only it's going to be about crochet! It will be called "Stitch 'n Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker". I'm excited that there will be some fun projects in crochet to try as well as some decent crochet instruction (I learned, but there are still things I can't quite figure out from my old crochet techniques book).
